Skoda has announced that it remains on schedule with the development of its new Fabia R5 rally car and that it should be ready for homologation by mid-2015. Asia-Pacific Champion Jan Kopecky and 2014 European Rally Champion Esapekka Lappi put the new Fabia R5, the successor to the successful Fabia Super 2000, through its paces last week during a series of 'comprehensive tests'. “We tested the new Fabia R5 on asphalt and recently on gravel.
