Toyota sign Teemu Suninen to WRC junior squad
Toyota Motorsport has continued its preparations for its highly-anticipated return to the World Rally Championship scene by signing Teemu Suninen to its junior driver development squad. The Japanese manufacturer's planned WRC return in 2017 is beginning to take shape as the Finn driver joins Eric Camilli at Toyota and will also help develop the Yaris WRC alongside the experienced pair of Stephane Sarrazin and Sebastian Lindholm. The 21-year-old made his rallying debut just two years ago and claimed the Fiesta Sport trophy title in his native homeland last season.
