Meeke: I misjudged the speed
Citroen's Kris Meeke says it was his own fault he crashed out of Rally Mexico on Friday in SS4, as he simply “misjudged the speed”. Meeke had made a great start in his DS 3 WRC, posting the quickest time in SS3 – the first 'proper' test of the event – to move up to third place overall. However, he then crashed out near the start of SS4 and was unable to continue. The Briton will re-join on Saturday under Rally 2. “I had adopted a safe rhythm on this morning's first stage.
