Tanak vows to give it a proper go in Poland
M-Sport's Ott Tanak says he will try and take the “next step” and give it a “proper go” on Rally Poland next month. Tanak looked set to finish third in Sardinia last weekend until a transmission issue - a result of a hard landing over a crest – put him out on Saturday afternoon. It was a bitter blow for the 27-year-old and while he did still finish, re-starting the final day under Rally 2 and coming home 14th to secure six manufacturers' points, it wasn't much consolation. “Obviously it's a big disappointment for the whole team because we've all put in a really big effort and a good result is just what we needed,” Tanak reflected after round six in WRC 2015, “but these...
