Latvala wins Rally of Portugal
Finland's Jari-Matti Latvala held on to to win the Rally of Portugal on Sunday ahead of his Volkswagen teammate Sebastien Ogier. The Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen in a Polo-R took third place in what was the fifth leg of the World Rally Championship season. Ogier went into the weekend with a 30 point lead over Norwegian Mads Ostberg in the championship standings while Latvala began the rally in ninth overall but 62pts adrift. AFP
