Elfyn Evans awarded same time as Ott Tanak to retain lead
Elfyn Evans has been awarded the same time as Ott Tanak,10m03.6s, for the final stage of Friday to retain the lead in Corsica. Evans had initally dropped down to third after becoming stuck behind the Yaris of Kris Meeke, which was suffering from suspension arm damage sustained in the previous stage. The Welshman had lost upwards of 10 seconds but the organisers used data from the previous run of the Alta-Rocca stage to recify the unrepresentative time from Evans. This leaves Evans with a lead of 4.5 seconds over Tanak going into Saturday's stages, with Tanak and Thierry Neuville in second and third.
