Frustrated de Rooy says Dakar needs to rethink Bolivia leg

Dakar truck class frontrunner Gerard de Rooy has been angered by the cancellation of the "Super Belen" stage of the 2017 edition, and has said the event needs to rethink its Bolivian leg due to weather. Two-time champion de Rooy (Iveco Petronas), who is battling for his third Dakar title this year, said he pinned his strategy in 2017 on the mammoth "Super Belen" stage from Salta to Chilecito.
