Latvala makes Toyota switch for 2017 WRC season
Jari-Matti Latvala will compete for the new Toyota squad in the 2017 edition of the World Rally Championship, it has been announced. Latvala, winner of 16 WRC rallies, spent the last four years as part of the dominant Volkswagen outfit, becoming runner-up in both 2014 and 2015. However, he was only sixth this year as he was beaten by his teammates Sebastien Ogier and Andreas Mikkelsen, and the three Hyundais.
