Ogier completes first post-season test with Toyota

Less than a week after his last rally with Volkswagen, Sebastien Ogier has tested for Toyota as he continues to weigh up his options for a 2017 WRC campaign. The four-time champion, who finished second in last weekend's Rally Australia, drove the Yaris WRC on both tarmac and gravel roads in the Tarragona region of Catalunya. While reportedly Ogier recognised the potential of the car, he was not fully satisfied, marking out the suspension as a weak point. Toyota has only announced Juho Hanninen for its line-up so far, and while WRC2 champion Esapekka Lappi is considered likely to join, Jari-Matti Latvala and Teemu Suninen are also in the frame.
