Ogier holds off charging Tanak

World Rally champion Sebastien Ogier secured a fourth successive Wales Rally GB title by 10.2 seconds on Sunday. Ogier had been crowned champion in Spain earlier this month and his victory in Wales also confirmed the manufacturers' title for his Volkswagen team. But the victory was only a narrow one after a sensational run of quick times from eventual runner-up Ott Tanak, who won a series of stages on Sunday, including the closing TV Power Stage - Brenig 2. The Ford driver took two-thirds of Ogier's Saturday advantage but was not quite able to catch the Frenchman and secure his first World Rally victory, instead settling for a second podium finish of the season.
