Meeke leads in Finland
Britain's Kris Meeke held his lead in the Rally of Finland on Friday after 12 specials on the first full day of racing. The Citroen DS3 driver won four of Friday's 11 specials to open up an 18.1sec gap on Finland's Jari-Matti Latvala, a three-time winner on home soil, in a Volkswagen Polo, with Belgian Thierry Neuville 45sec off the pace in a Hyundai i20. World champion Sebastien Ogier of France lost a quarter of an hour as his VW Polo-R skidded off the road into a ditch. AFP
