WRC stars join Wings for Life run
Advertising World champion Ogier will swap horsepower for footpower as he takes to the roads in the French event at Rouen, while Neuville (above) will drive the ‘catcher car’ in the Belgium run at Ypres.More than 100,000 people in 35 locations around the world, including Melbourne, Dubai, Niagara Falls and Lima, will take part in the runs, which start simultaneously at 11.00 GMT. Entrants run as far as they can before being overhauled by the ‘catcher car’, which sets off 30 minutes after the runners and speeds up slowly until all runners are caught and eliminated.Other stars at the wheel of the vehicles include current Formula 1 racers Carlos Sainz (Valencia, Spain) and Max...
