Sweden WRC: Paddon closes the gap on Ogier, Camilli rolls
Sebastien Ogier continues to lead Rally Sweden after Saturday morning's two stages, but his cushion has shrunk to 8.8s from the charging Hayden Paddon. Ogier kicked off the day by setting the pace on the opening stage, only to lose most than half of his lead to Paddon in the subsequent run. The Hyundai driver was 23.7s faster than Ogier in the Vargasen stage, which featured the famous Colin Crest jump, but still ended up behind Jari-Matti Latvala and Kris Meeke. Andreas Mikkelsen started his recovery from his mistake on Friday with two consistent stages, as the Volkswagen driver took fourth overall behind Ostberg, less than 40 seconds behind Ogier.
