He has been confirmed in M-Sport’s new evolution Ford Fiesta R5 and will be partnered by Craig Parry, who replaces Dan Barritt after three seasons alongside the Welshman. Evans was dropped from M-Sport’s 2016 WRC line-up after two seasons in favour of rookie Eric Camilli. He has been registered for WRC 2 points and it is understood a more extensive programme could be confirmed for him in the WRC’s principal support category.
