The dates of three rounds of the 2016 FIA European Rally Championship have been adjusted following the publication of the provisional calendar earlier this month. Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés will no begin one day earlier than originally planned with the event now set to run from 10-12 March, while Rally Rzeszów is due to take place from 4-6 August rather than 5-7 August. Also, subject to FIA approval, the season-closing Cyprus Rally will be moved back from 23-25 September to 7-9 October so it runs in tandem with the FIA Middle East Championship round.
