The FIA World Motor Sports Council has announced China has been provisionally added to the World Rally Championship calendar for 2016, with a 14-event calendar expected to be confirmed next month. The existing 13 rallies will remain on next year's WRC calendar along with Rally China returning to the international stage. China is yet to be confirmed for next season until it fulfills its requirements set out by the FIA, with a confirmation expected along with full calendar dates in November.
